Right now, our hardcover book is in the print-proof stages. Onyx Path is working with a new print partner, so test copies have been printed and sent to the team for review and approval. Once they've determined everything is good to go, the printer will have the green light to start the print run.
I'll leave the logistics of all that to the Onyx Path team. On our end, it's time we lockdown our orders and confirm our information in anticipation of shipping soon.

Confirm Rewards / Confirm Orders - September 1, 2023
I'll begin locking down all orders on September 1, 2023. This means that, once they're locked down, you won't be able to shift your pledge tier or add any additional Add On options. These will firm up the counts for our distribution partners so they can figure out deliveries.
On Sept1, I will send out a 48 HOUR NOTICE with a link for you to double check your pledge and items to ensure they're set up the way you want.
Process Outstanding Payments - September 15, 2023
For any additions you made in BackerKit, pre-orders, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed by September15 , 2022. On that date, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments.
Confirm Delivery Information - September 22 , 2022
Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for October/November 2023. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by September23,2023. After this point, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can schedule the picking and packing of orders, with plans to begin shipping hopefully early in the new year.
On September22, I will send out a 48 HOUR NOTICE with the delivery information we have in the system and a link in case you need to update or modify. After those 48 hours, the delivery information will be considered confirmed and locked in our system.
IF YOUR ADDRESS IS CHANGING IN October or November
If your shipping location will be changing during the October/November timeframe, please contact me at Onyx.Kickstarter [at] gmail.com. I will unlock your order and we'll hold off processing it until you're at your new location. If you have your new address and the effective date, let me know that too and I'll set it up. If you haven't confirmed your location yet, let me know that as well and I'll hold off the shipment until you're all sorted.
Quick note on schedules and timelines
I don't have to say too much here, do I? I'm moving forward with a lot of assumptions that things will work out as planned, but we've learned that unexpected complications are lurking around every corner. I'll keep in touch with Onyx Path as best possible and we can adjust these dates as/if needed.
For now, just review your BackerKit order list and ensure that it's got everything you want. I'll send out the 48 Hour Notices as mentioned. Also, I'm here to help. If there are any issues, get in touch and I'll sort everything as best I can.
Since this may be a tight printing window, and right as we approach a busy Q4, there will be lots of moving parts and potential issues. I don't know exactly how long it'll take to ship things out, but I'll work with our fulfillment partners to get everything out as quickly as manageable. The delivery side of this may be an ongoing project, but we'll get there! Don't worry - we'll have lots of opportunities to make sure we're set up for success as long as the external factors all cooperate.

While we anticipate our TC: Adventure! book, I just wanted to note an interesting new release in the Trinity Continuum. A VTT jumpstart adventure with some bells and whistles set in the world of Assassins!

What ho, Adventurers!
No big bits for this month's update, but a few smaller bits to share with you!
First up, the Trinity Continuum panel from this year's Onyx Path Con! Last month, I shared the Storypath Q&A panel, discussing the system that powers the Continuum. Let's get more focused on our favorite game line this time with a panel all about the Trinity Continuum featuring Danielle Lauzon, Ian A. A. Watson, Sean Creef, and Steve Tasker!
Next up, we're just about to launch the latest crowdfunding project for the Trinity Continuum!
Trinity Continuum: Aegis is a game of epic adventure and exploration set during Greece’s Iron Age. The setting features figures and events from history and mythology, viewed through the lens of the Trinity Continuum. In this game you’ll play Champions, Oracles, and Olympians — characters who have come into contact with the mysterious substance called ambrosia and been transformed into Inspired individuals with powers similar to Talents, Psiads, and Novas millennia ahead of their counterparts’ times.
These characters live in an age of wonder and discovery. People in the ancient world made amazing strides in science, exploration, and philosophy, all while grappling (sometimes literally!) with gods and monsters. About a decade ago, bright streaks flashed across the sky and a fiery object crashed into Mount Olympus. Other pieces landed throughout the world, creating heroes and horrors wherever they touched down.
Trinity Continuum: Aegis continues to explore the Trinity Continuum’s themes of hope, sacrifice, and unity — in an age where societies are in decline and survival sometimes feels uncertain, these are the tenets under which people band together.
Epic Adventure. This is a game about big, sweeping actions and over-the-top stories. Monsters are real and roam the world. Some are strange creatures, others are human. The characters face these things head on, using their wits, strength, and daring to forge stories that will echo through the ages.
Exploration and Discovery; Curiosity and Wonder. The world is huge, and much of it is uncharted. Characters who set sail run the risk of being blown off course in a storm and washing up on an island where a sorceress makes her home. That old cave no one ever ventures too far into holds a monster’s lair or the door to an Underworld. The cautious and the fearful stay far away; a Champion checks her map, lights her torch, and ventures within. She wants to know: What’s at the center of the labyrinth? Can you reason with Medusa? What’s the view like from atop Olympus?
Recognizing Your Potential. So, what makes a hero, exactly? Is it strength, cleverness, doing the right thing when the odds are against you? What are you capable of when you’re sure you’ve given it all you’ve got? What heights can you reach, that you didn’t know were within your grasp? Aegis encourages players to explore the answers.
Onyx Path is currently test-printing covers and scheduling the print run for the hardcover book. This isn't yet the call for order lockdown, outstanding payments, or shipping confirmation. But that's going to come in the next few months.
So, all of that being said, it's probably a good idea to ensure you've got your BackerKit page up to date with your order info, any payment info if needed to cover BackerKit Add Ons, and your shipping information.

June '23 Monthly Update

What ho, Adventurers!
No big announcements or rewards this month. We're in that "setting up" phase, where the Onyx Path team is busy working out the details with their print partners for the print run of the hardcover book and the Storyguide Screens, and it's just about booking in the timing and confirming all of the specs. Once they've got that locked down, there will be test prints and proofing to make sure it's all coming out as intended, and then the print run can begin in earnest.
Once the print run is scheduled, I can begin the order lockdown process. When we get to that step, I'll have a more detailed update outlining all of the steps we'll go through to ensure everyone's confirmed their order, any payment information, and we'll confirm all shipping information a few times before any distribution starts.

To repeat, this isn't yet the call for order lockdown, outstanding payments, or shipping confirmation. But that's going to come in the next few months.

NEXT UP - TRINITY CONTINUUM: AEGIS
Trinity Continuum: Aegis is a game of adventure and exploration set in Greece’s Iron Age. Ten years ago, streaks of fire lit up the skies, setting alight the night. The largest of these crashed into Mount Olympus, and pools of glowing golden liquid appeared in their path. Those who came into contact with the substance were forever changed, and now they use their incredible powers to fight monsters, protect their communities, and explore the world.

Finally, OnYX Path has confirmed the name of the next game in the They Came From… series: They Came from the RPG Anthology! This one’s a little different than the rest though, and the clue’s in the title. This newest They Came From… isn’t another single genre piece, but a compilation of multiple genres, spanning the big screen, the small screen, the stage, and possibly even more besides!
Why “possibly”? Well, when our Kickstarter campaign launches, one of the first things you’ll likely read about is the polls we’ll be running throughout its duration. Every Monday another poll, and every poll adding a new genre to the book. They Came from the RPG Anthology! already includes:
They Came from Cowboy’s Gulch! (Westerns)
They Came from the Mean Streets! (Noir)
They Came from Bridgton Rectory! (Costume Dramas)
They Came from the Interstellar Starship! (Space Opera)
They Came from the Bard’s Quill! (Shakespearean Plays)
But we’ll be adding a further four chapters (at least) to this book from a selection of options you get to vote on!

DIFFERENCES IN PoD FORMATS
So, for those backers who pledged at the PDF reward tier, or those backers who will later be receiving the hardcover book but might be looking for a second copy for the table, there are two different versions of Print-On-Demand options available.
Standard Color uses a thick 70# white paper which has better page opacity. (that's "70 pound" for reference, but does not mean each page weighs 70 lbs!). Standard Heavyweight Color uses inkjet technology. (These are not the same inkjet printers you have at home - these are often as big or bigger than a car!) This option offers lower cost but the colors won't be as sharp or bright as a Premium Color book.
Premium Color uses the same 70# paper, but uses "Digital Color Print Engine Technology," which sounds super fancy and certainly costs a lot more, but I'll admit to not knowing the exact difference. This option offers superior color quality but is more expensive to produce, and has gotten even more expensive over the past year.
(Remember to login to DriveThruRPG prior to clicking or pasting the discount link in your BackerKit digital rewards locker, if you that was part of your rewards list! That link is your coupon and must be usedfor your PoD order.)
